We are typically interested in later-stage, middle market companies whose owners wish to fully or partially liquefy their positions, but we also provide growth capital and pursue divestments of non-core subsidiaries. A Tucson based manufacturer of power integrated circuits, Apex was acquired by Alerion, sold to Cirrus Logic, and subsequently reacquired by Alerion. Apex designs and manufactures high performance monolithic and hybrid analog power integrated circuits that provide off-the-shelf solutions across a wide range of commercial, industrial and military applications. Typical end products include aircraft, automatic test equipment, guidance systems, surface analyzers, missile systems, scanning tunneling microscopes and robotics. Apex has established a stellar reputation for consistently developing products that lead the industry in terms of quality, reliability and performance.
